While I weep for Oh my brothers, the victims of violence on the street, got raped, by Boy Scouts who went undetected. With poison lines they are hooked up with, and facilitated. The service provided by Nanny's who dictate IT. They used them, and now lead them to genocide IT. Verdi conducts, and the opera in his head plays, the voices of the dead. Singing are the inner self souls of spirits past, now heard. The trumpets blow. A final day of reconning, what they have known. Is here at last, and plainly shown, for all to see. Self evident prophecy, not that of deity, but that of humanity. To be, or not to be, for all who can see, are coming for all who have been, from years here before. To find judgement for all, and never to be seen for ever more, nor ever to be reborn. Motivating force for all humanity, exponential disarray is leading to your final play. Spiro Llambiri Una celeberrima opera musicale, una grande orchestra e coro, un gigante direttore d'orchestra che dirige una formazione enorme, per più di un'ora, senza una partitura davanti...un raro esempio di un super musicista irripetibile nelle sue performance, portando il grande G.Verdi in un'altro piedestallo dei giganti della musica! Sentite la forza del talento cosa produce…delle cose incredibilmente immaginabili : una grande emozione un grande orgoglio per l'umanità!

Arroyo, Veasey, Domingo and Raimondi harmonize beautifully, and the choir and orchestra are superb. And, of course, there's the legendary Maestro Bernstein!

The 'Ingemisco' is a moving aria performed in an appropriate funeral-march tempo, and Domingo's performance is suitably lyrical and powerful. In the 'Confutatis', Raimondi gives a very good account of himself, although he sounds more baritonal than bassish. The orchestra plays superbly under Bernstein's skilled direction.

The greatest Requiem in my experience. I sang many of them at the MET with Levine in the 1980s and 1990s. This complete Requiem performanceis a revelation...so intense, moving and free.

Bernstein is making love with the soloists. He invites them in and then lets them take the lead, caressing their music with his orchestra in perfect timing and intensity. Watch him. Listen to them. This is intimacy at its most sublime. Ruggero is Apollonian and Domingo is Dionysian, and Bernstein is sensitive to both of them. A master.

Plácido Domingo came on for Franco Corelli almost at the last minute. A pity because there was not a testimony of filmed quality of the famous Italian tenor.

....che senso abbia fare la vipera e cosa le giovi che non abbia già avuto. La Verret in difficoltà in una Carmen con costumi orrendi...dove tutto le era messo contro Carmen da una regia Quelfa e del Cairo, in funzione di Escamillo un Domingone ...one one...Michaela una barista... e lei/Carmen/ sacrificata anche da una Voce in difficoltà. Giovanissima la Verret aveva debuttato in Carmen con Schippers...a Spoleto dove volava su una musica e una regia basata sul suo grande fascino. Si rifece nelle repliche.

Wow, I never would have thought Raimondi could sing Iago. That's a really high role for him. But here he is doing it, and he sounds great! I guess he really is just one of the most versatile singers of all time.

I never heard of this soprano that I find excellent in the role of Zerlina. Does anybody have any news from her, she seems have been either forgotten or just disappeared..Pity...

Salutando Ermanno Olmi lo vediamo come regista d'opera lirica. Non molte ma interessanti le sue regie in tal campo, questa forse è la più prestigiosa, notiamo la passione che esprime nelle sue direttive ai cantanti(il giovane Cura era, salvo errore, al primo approccio con quello che diverrà un suo ruolo di riferimento). Olmi aveva in precedenza messo in scena l'Otello a Salisburgo, protagonista Placido Domingo, chissà se ce ne sono testimonianze?
